東洋エンタープライズ社(Toyo Enterprises)のスカジャンレーベル・Tailor Toyo(テーラー東洋 テイラー東洋)のスカTシャツ(メンズ 半袖Tシャツ ショートスリーブスリーブTee)です。
スーベニアジャケット、通称「スカジャン」は戦後間もない頃、日本に駐留していたアメリカ軍兵士の記念品として、鷲・虎・龍などのオリエンタルな柄や、兵士の所属していた部隊などをジャケットに刺繍したのが始まりです。その発祥に関わったのが、東洋エンタープライズの前身である港商(港商商会)です。「テーラー東洋」は1940年代の港商から始まり、1965年に設立された東洋エンタープライズのスカジャンレーベルとして、その歴史と経験を継承し続けています。
この製品は、テーラー東洋によってタウンユース用にアレンジされた半袖Tシャツです。テーラー東洋オリジナルの丈夫なTシャツボディを使用して、刺繍カスタム、現代的なシルエット、縫製を取り入れ、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに改良・再構築されています。
シルエットは、スリムすぎずルーズすぎない適度な身幅で、着丈がやや短めにされたアメカジスタイルのレギュラーフィットに設定され、スタイリッシュにご着用いただけますように仕上げられています。
素材はコットン100%の厚すぎず薄すぎない適度な肉厚のミディアムウェイト天竺生地(ワンウォッシュ仕上げ)です。糸本来の風合いをかもしだした古き良きアメリカの乾いた匂いが伝わってくるようなドライな質感の生地です。着用と洗濯を繰り返すことで、生地が馴染みコットン特有の風合いが生まれてきます。長年の洗濯や着用にも耐えるしっかりさと、着心地の良いしなやかさを併せ持った生地です。
この製品には、ウォッシュ加工がかけられています。そのため、Tシャツには、程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感が生まれ、クラシックな印象を与えるTシャツに仕上げられています。また、ワンウォッシュですでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しているのも利点のひとつです。着用と洗濯を繰り返すことで、さらに生地が馴染み、コットン特有の風合いが増していきます。
衿はフライスリブで切り替えられ、ネックと肩の内側には布テープが縫い付けられ、衿が伸びるのを防ぐようにしてあります。
柄は総刺繍で表現されています。
